Materialized imagination

How far is it from the depths of the oceans until you reach the depth of imagination, an unknown place where everything is possible? We move slowly, swim at the bottom of our thoughts and discover what we have not even dreamed of. You ask yourself where this fantastic variety of delicate forms and mellow colors comes from? Where it has no limits and no rules, it is inexhaustible. The inspiration's floating in weightless state. It develops itself and never stands still. An unsatisfied thirst for knowledge, which tempts our sense of taste and creates unique desserts that tell a story.

Natural metamorphosis enchantes me, like transformation of tree resin into a healing stone. A precious gold-coloured tear of God seeping from the inside of a nature organism. Encloses everything what’s on its way. Insects and worms haven’t found a way out. And amber has found a way into jewellery.
Inspired by my desire for nature, hidden connections come out in the sun. Wild scenes in the night of the universe – beauty of a discovery. Riding fast on the blue road, ardent movement of a shape . Red shadows follow us, crystalize and grow on a body. An orchestra of galaxies sending signals of colorful tones swinging over the seas, breach the water surface without splash. A taste explosion, fabulous naked miracle of surprise, the true colour of orgiastic blossom. Planet of drops, the horizon is a geyser.

Into the Unknown is comming to Bratislava!

The recently finished exhibition Into the Unknown has moved from  Vienna’s V&V Galerie for contemporary jewellery to Bratislava’s Galeria Cin Cin. 

The exhibition shows a selection of  jewellery from the recent  period.  The unexplored depths of the sea fascinates the author. She investigates and materializes her ideas in the long-lasting, not-yet-ending collection with the title “Into the Unknown” and “Unknown Waters”.

“Everything is possible, nothing is true. The deeper the unknown, the more intoxicating the world is. The inspiration's floating in weightless state, it never stands still. By movements of the water pulled back and forth - a solid bottom does not exist.”

You are cordially invited to meet the artist at the openig, which will take place on 3^rd April 2013 from 18.00 till 21.30 h.

 Otvorenie výstavy a prezentácia knihy
Z viedenskej galérie V und V, zameranej na autorský šperk, sa len nedávno ukončená výstava Viktorie Münzker presunula do bratislavskej galérie Čin Čin.
Výstava predstavuje výber autorských šperkov z posledného obdobia. Autorku fascinujú neprebádané morské hlbiny, skúma a zhmotňuje svoje predstavy v dlhodobej, stále nekončiacej kolekcií autorských šperkov pod názvom „Into the unkown“.
Šperky Viktorie Münzker nás pozývajú, aby sme sa ponorili do jej ríše, ktorá je taká farebná, vyrazná, príťažlivá a tajomná, niekedy aj strašidelná, ako okolo plávajúci roj najrozličnejších hlbokomorských živočíchov. Morské fluidum celkom zodpovedá temperamentu Viktorie Münzker a jej umeleckej samozrejmosti: nechať sa unášať, ostať spontánny. Neobmedzovať sa. Ani vo voľbe prostriedkov, ani vo výraze. Jedno sa vyvíja z druhého. Voda nesie, ak sa jej človek oddá a predsa ostane sám sebou. Ak verí v jej silu a v silu umenia.
Viktoria Münzker, je slovenská výtvarníčka, absolventka VŠVU, atelier kov a šperk, ktorá dlhodobo žije a tvorí vo Viedni v ateliéri Stoss im Himmel.
